I’ve never considered laundry one of life’s great joys. It multiplies when no one is looking, and apparently it has no natural predators. But I do love the clean scent and cozy warmth of towels fresh from the dryer. Sometimes joy isn’t in the chore—it’s in the little comfort waiting at the end.
