Some traditions are worth carrying from one generation to the next.
Since I was a little girl, my parents loaded up the car each summer and took our family to North Myrtle Beach. Those trips became part of who we were. Even after Mike and I had children of our own, my parents kept the tradition alive, creating the same memories for their grandchildren.
Today, if you ask my kids about their favorite memories with Grandma and Grandpa, those beach vacations are always near the top of the list.
