Some paintings come from a plan. This one came from a friend showing up with flowers in her hands. It's stayed one of my favorites for that reason. My friend Shelly showed up with flowers — and instead of a vase, she'd popped them into an old Cheerwine bottle. Shelly said it was relaxing to watch my paint with watercolor and she provided me plenty of motivation!

Frame not included. Display recommendation: Frame in a 16 × 20 frame and use a mat made for 11 × 14. All can be found easily in most hobby or super stores.
